Alison Manternach, RN, MSA, ACSM-CPT has vast experience and knowledge in the health care field. She has been in the fitness industry since 1992, a nurse since 1998 and in the natural health movement since 2007. She has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented lectures to groups of medical professionals and elite athletes. She is passionate about using nutrition, psychology, and movement as tools to accomplish goals. A nationally ranked sprinter, she won a gold (200 meter dash) and a silver (100 meter dash) at the 2013 VA Commonwealth Games. She lives with her husband and two sons on the coast of Virginia.
